Information Collection
Cymatica does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app operates entirely on your device without requiring an internet connection.
Microphone Access
The app can optionally use your device's microphone to visualize live audio as Chladni patterns. Microphone data is processed entirely on-device in real-time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. This feature requires your explicit permission and can be disabled at any time through your device settings.
Photo Library Access
The app only accesses your photo library when you explicitly choose to save a pattern image or video. This permission is requested only when you tap the save button, and the app only writes to your library - it never reads or accesses existing photos.
Apple Music Access
The app can optionally access Apple Music to visualize your music as Chladni patterns. Audio data is processed entirely on-device in real-time for visualization purposes and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. This feature requires your explicit permission and can be disabled at any time.
Data Storage
All app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. No data is transmitted to external servers.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Cymatica offers optional subscription plans processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing and transaction data is managed by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy. Subscription status is verified on-device using StoreKit and is not transmitted to any external server.
Analytics and Tracking
Cymatica does not use any analytics services, tracking tools, or third-party SDKs. Your usage of the app remains completely private.
Children's Privacy
Cymatica is suitable for all ages and does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
